How to monitoring latency network using map network in pandoraFMS
Hello, I’m currently testing Pandora FMS on my personal VM. I’ve already done several study cases using Pandora FMS. However, I have one unfinished study case: monitoring network latency between host/VM servers in Pandora FMS.
I created a simple network map, but the lines between nodes don’t display latency in ms.
I also tried checking the Ethernet interface, but it wasn’t detected. Has anyone tried this use case or a similar one?
I’ve seen several articles that show that creating a network map can reveal the interfaces used and the latency or Ethernet RX/TX between nodes/VMs.

Hello,
You can get the latency of a given Host or Device by creating a Host Latency Module within the agent.
The image you’re showing is pretty old, but is displaying the modules that control the Interface and the Latency of the example device.
So within the agent of the device that you are adding into the networkmap you need to create a new network server module, and select this host latency module as shown in the screenshow below.
