Cant install Pandora on Ubuntu 16.04

Like it shows, ive done this on 3 different ubuntu installations. I am through a proxy if that makes a difference, but it shouldnt. Everything on the screen prior is green so I didnt force the install.
mysql> show databases;

4 rows in set (0.15 sec)As you can see, it never created a database for pandora.

Hi raptureveteran,
You need to insert this line into your my.cnf file.
sql_mode=""
Then try to install the Pandora console again
http://IP/pandora_console/install.php
