cant edit agent.conf access denied

I installed pandora agents to 3 Windows 7 pcs and they are reporting to the pandora server but when i edit the pandora_agent.conf file in Windows 7 and do save i keep getting an access denied message. I tried different versions of the agents 4.01, 5 and 5.1 will not install. Has anybody experience this issue before? Thank you before hand.

hello,

Try reinstalling the agent. Do not enable remote configuration. Do you have administrator permissions?

I re-installed it and yes i do have administrator permissions. And is the remote configuration in the older versions 4.0 as well?

Run the Word Pad clicking the right mouse button. “Run as administrator”. Then from there, open the configuration file. This should let you access the configuration file.
