# Prerrequisites

- The plugin is distributed as a compiled binary that already includes all the dependencies required for its use, so it does not require Python or any additional libraries to be installed.
- The HAProxy stats endpoint must be enabled and reachable (port and URI configured in `haproxy.cfg`). See the [HAProxy Configuration section](https://pandorafms.com/guides/public/books/haproxy-discovery-lL4/page/haproxy-configuration) for the required steps.
