Setting up IP to Pandora VM
#1
I recently installed Pandora NMS OVA virtual image on VMware ESXi. On starting the VM, i got black and white screen asking for login. I typed default ROOT and PANDORA as username and password and its log in.

Now i need to set ip to this VM. I tried using command ifconfig 192.xxx.xxx.xxx, but it says :

SIOCSIFADDR : No such device
etho: ERROR while getting interface flags : No such device

Please tell how should i assign ip to this VM??

Hi sourabh.scd,

Edit this file and then restart the computer.
Code:
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-enp0s3

Add or modify this parameters:
Code:
#Autostart
ONBOOT="yes"

IPADDR="X.X.X.X"
NETMASK="X.X.X.X"
GATEWAY="X.X.X.X"
DNS1="X.X.X.X"

Best regards,

vic.
