    Hello All,

    I’ve searched through the inet and also this forum but I didn’t found a solution to my problem. Now I’m hoping you can help me with it.

    We’ve just set up pandora fms 3.0 (stable) and everything seems fine when I set up a module to check if the host is alive (icmp).
    When I add a SNMP Module to check the cisco catalyst cpu utilization the module won’t initialize. What make this so strange is that in the pandora console snmp v1 is selected although I set it up as v2c.

    Tcpdump on the machine shows that it’s indeed polling with v1 and it looks like it can’t find the OID/MIB

    11:31:16.533457 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 255, id 13280, offset 0, flags [none], proto UDP (17), length 72)
        10.1.1.10.snmp > 10.1.1.1.56002: [udp sum ok]  { SNMPv1 { GetResponse(29) R=2046018315  noSuchName@1 E:cisco.2.1.58= } }

    What am I doing wrong here? Is this problem a known issue?

    thanks,
    rc.d

    Hi,

    I just tried to set the SNMP version of a SNMP module and it worked, the console shows
    SNMP version v. 2c. What version of Pandora are you using? Have you tried to update the console?
