keepalive issue

i added a keepalive module to a server

my issue is this

1. the server is on a another network
2. added a keepalive module and it keeps saying it is talking to the server but how ? am i missing what this module does ? isnt it a icmp ping from pandora to the server ? if so then how is it doing this from a server behind another firewall ?

on another note what i meant was i setup keep it live as instructed but it seems to never fail .
i even turned off the server . still nothing .. i will look over the directions again and hopefully see my error 🙂
