  Recon Task Critical does not create an alert

  Hi
  I have been playing with Pandora FMS Community edition for a few days – Looks great – however the Recon Task to ping IP addresses in a subnet work well – it detects when an IP is not reachable and I get a RED Critical Status against the server – however I am expecting an Alert to be generated and I should then receive an email – I have setup the email to GMail and it works from the CLI – I have tried setting the Recon Task to Basic Monitoring and Mail to Admin but neither work.

  I seem to have missed something (possibly obvious).
