Need to understand how to monitor an application on a windows platform

I am new to the PandoraFMS application. I have installed the VMware instance and having issues figuring out how to monitor a particular application which is a windows based interface engine (i.e. mirth ). I am running the v3 vmware instance of Pandora FMS. I have a windows software agent running on my windows machine. What are the steps to monitor the specific application. I have looked at the documentation and I am still not to clear as to my next steps.

You have to setup you pandora_agent.conf file in the windows agent.

There are a lot of examples inside the file.
