The ICMP boolean for pings and host alive does not work consistently.  Is there a known issue with it?  I’m running 3.0 RC1 with your VM.

    Update: I’m running 3.0 RC2.

I realize I didn’t provide very much configuration information, but I’ve tested it thoroughly, and ICMP checks seem to start and stop for no particular reason.  Often a Pandora server restart makes all the pings work for awhile, and then they stop.  If I snoop the network, sometimes a module is pinging every 1 second, even though it’s set to ping every 60 seconds.  If I disable and then enable the module, it works correctly and pings every 60 seconds, then stops a few days later.  All this behavior points to the ICMP boolean check, so I thought I would ask if there is a known, general issue with that module.

    Hi summa_sp,

No known issues that I know of. Since 3.1RC1 is out can you give it a try and see if it still happens?
