Government





 Acre is one of the states of the Federal Republic of Brazil. They have a project called Digital Forest that aims to bring Internet access to all citizens of the state (700,000). The government used to use Open tools. However, they had to monitor more than 800 computers so they were seeking a management and control system for large environments until they met Pandora. Finally the Information and Communication Technology Department of the Government of the State of Acre chose Pandora FMS to monitor all their systems.

Transport Sector

EMT is the Municipal Transport Agency of Madrid. With a fleet of 2100 buses, their work is recognized around the world and nowadays it participates in some international projects. They needed an adaptable system that never fails to control their IT services. Because of the specific needs of their system, a proprietary solution was not an option. That is why, Pandora FMS was adapted to their existing IT infrastructure to control hundred of servers and network devices.

RanTek A/S is a Value Creating Distributor of network, monitoring and security products and services on the growing IT Market in Scandinavia. Their head office is placed in Randers, Denmark.

Rantek wanted to get a closer relationship with its resellers and end users to provide proactive support, monitoring, reporting and management. One of its goals for monitoring and retrieving data from its customers’ infrastructure was that Rantek needed a simple way to retrieve statistical information without having a site-to-site VPN.

Indra is the premier information technology company in Spain and a leading IT multinational in Europe and Latin America. Pandora FMS has been installed as a monitoring system in the following projects:

  •  Central Command System for Versatile Maritime Policing Response Project (Hong Kong Police Force)
  • Latvian Sea and Coastal Surveillance System (Latvian Maritime Police Force)

Industrial Sector

Gestamp Automoción is an international group dedicated to design, development and manufacture metal components and structural systems for the automotive industry. Gestamp Automoción is present in 18 countries with 57 production centres and 13 R&D Centres. Pandora FMS is used to monitor the communication systems of all their centres since 2007. 

 

Pandora FMS was chosen by CEMAT to implement the quality control during the construction of Eurocopter. They needed a system to control and monitor their humidity cameras. Pandora FMS stores and monitors all their data, and send reports with graphics and events to add to their studies certification materials. 

Besides using the alarms monitored the opening of water pumps, and control of air conditioning.
